Samsung today unveiled their new Neo QLED 8K TV lineup at Digital Light Canvas in Marina Bay Sands.

The new Neo QLED 8K TVs are almost bezel and border-free, boasting an 8K resolution, HDR remastering, and AI upscaling (AI-assisted dynamic range boosting and image quality refinement. Think richer blacks, more vibrant colours, sharper images).

The TVs also have in-built directional speakers and can pair with a Samsung soundbar for a Dolby Atmos experience. An eco-focused showcase was also featured under a “Hyperion” tree made of used Samsung TV cardboard packaging. Hyperion is a reference to the world’s tallest known tree.

For gamers, the Neo QLED TVs have up to 144hz refresh rate, making it perfect for high-speed gaming. For the home-worker, the TV can also pair with Samsung’s Slim Camera to turn the Google Meets-enabled TV into a conference call platform.

The event showcased several showcase booths, including Smart Home integration, a gaming room setup, and a home cinema experience with a 75″ Samsung TV at least 2.3 meters away from the couch, which Samsung claims provides the perfect viewing experience for most Singaporean homes.

Aside from the Neo QLED 8K TVs, Samsung also displayed their QLED 4K and OLED TVs. With all of these options, consumers can choose a TV that suits their lifestyle and budget.

The event is open to the public on April 7th and 8th, and Samsung is offering early order promotions for those who can’t wait to get their hands on the latest tech. These promotions include free gifts such as a soundbar worth up to S$2,899 and a SlimFit Camera worth $200.
Samsung also displayed some upgrades to their popular Samsung Frame line of TVs, with a new metal bezel frame edge, and auto-rotating wall mounts to flip the Frame TV from horizontal to landscape and vice versa.
